The Topanga Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors are volunteers here to support you and your business. All passionate Topangans with a variety of experiences and backgrounds, here to serve.
Ron Fomalont
Attorney, Law Offices of Ronald Fomalont
Ron graduated from Eckerd College with an honors degree in American Studies and then attended law school at USC, where he interned for a semester with the California Court of Appeal. After earning his law degree in 1981, Ron began practicing law in Los Angeles, handling personal injury matters. He opened the Law Offices of Ronald Fomalont in 1994, with a primary office in Woodland Hills and a satellite office in Century City. Ron enjoys hiking with his family in the Santa Monica Mountains, is a long-time board member of the Topanga Association for a Scenic Community, and regularly practices Tae Kwon Do in Topanga.
Roger Pugliese
Film Producer
Roger’s formal career began by taking film classes at NYU and has continued for over thirty years. He is credited on more than thirty films and has worked in almost every facet of the industry. Starting as a production assistant in New York on films like Kramer vs. Kramer, All That Jazz, Fort Apache–The Bronx and Blow Out, he became known as “the Best Street PA in New York.” After a career as an Assistant Director through the 1980s, he became a production manager for Garry Marshall on Pretty Woman, then co-produced Single White Female, establishing a long relationship with Sony Pictures.
He has overseen production on films including John Singleton’s Higher Learning, Tony Scott’s The Fan, and Howard Deutch’s Article 99, and served as line producer on Christine Lahti’s directorial debut, My First Mister. Roger lives in Topanga Canyon with his wife Kristin.
Ron Kramer
President & Founder, Kramer Accountancy Corporation
Ron graduated from California State University, Northridge with a BS in Accounting in 1983. He worked in public accounting for 10 years before forming Kramer Accountancy Corporation in 1993. For more than forty years Ron has worked with hundreds of individuals and businesses providing advice in accounting, tax, and insurance.
Joseph Rosendo
Travel Journalist & Broadcaster, TRAVELSCOPE® · Former Board President
Joseph is a long-time resident of Topanga Canyon and a former Chamber Board President. He works to keep the business community acquainted with important matters concerning local government and environmental concerns. A travel journalist and broadcaster, Joseph operates the multi-media organization TRAVELSCOPE®, dedicated to educating travelers about other cultures and destinations. The program plays regularly on PBS and has received several Emmy awards and nominations.
Robyn Bensinger
Membership Co-Chair · Film Planet
Robyn grew up in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, where skiing and the outdoors became her passion. She earned a Film + Communications degree at the University of Denver and later discovered Topanga Canyon and found her home. A commercial TV producer, Robyn and her company Film Planet provide production services for companies filming in South America. As Membership Co-Chair, she talks with local businesses, listens to their ideas, and welcomes potential new members to the Chamber community.
Dianne Porchia
Founder, PorchiasWISH — Whole Integrated Self Health
Since 2001, Dianne Porchia has utilized the principles of mind-body medicine and the latest science in psychoneuroimmunology, neurobiology, epigenetics, heart-brain coherence and somatic dialogue to reduce mental-emotional stress and support immune function holistically. She works remotely with clients worldwide facing advanced-stage diagnoses, auto-immune and stress-related disorders, and offers Commitment to Love and Life in Balance wellness retreats. Dianne also founded the Porchia Holistic Eco-Farm & Wildlife Sanctuary on 46 acres of family farmland in Oregon.
Max Kramer
Vice President, Kramer Insurance Services Inc. · Notary Public
Max is the Vice President of Kramer Insurance Services Inc. and a local Notary Public. He was part of the team that helped Topanga receive and maintain its Firewise designation, and continues to help locals obtain insurance in a difficult market. As one of our most recent Board members, Max brings fresh energy and innovative ideas to expand Chamber benefits for local businesses. Hobbies include soccer, snowboarding, and maintaining his garden.
Tommy Tucker
Vintage Sign Painter
Tommy has a 31-year career working for all the major Hollywood studios as an old-fashioned vintage sign painter. He received his BFA in painting from the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis and his Masters in Fine Art at USC. Tommy lived in Malibu from 1997 to 2005 and painted signs for businesses in Malibu and Topanga for many years. Drawn to Topanga’s small-town feel and good vibes, he supports Topanga’s unique bohemian culture.
Dr. Ralph & Lucy Yaney
Inn of the Seventh Ray
Dr. Ralph and Lucile Yaney started the Inn of the Seventh Ray in the early 1970s with the mission of offering guests the benefits of cooking without chemicals or artificial additives. What began as an extension of their personal lifestyle blossomed into a destination restaurant and wedding venue, for many years the only Los Angeles venue to offer vegetarian and vegan weddings with gluten-free cakes and organic or biodynamic wines. The Inn continues its original goal of showcasing products and ingredients produced with a minimum of additives.
